Patal Pani, 36 kms from Indore towards Mhow, is famous for its scenic waterfall. Water falls from a height of 150 feet into a kund whose depth is still unfathomed. It is popularly believed that the bottom of this deep trench reaches Patal (the mythological world below Earth ), hence the name Patal Pani.
